The VRU had a great start to the 1st of 4 club 10s rugby weekends. We thank Burchell MacDougall Lawyers LLP for partnering with the VRU for the first weekend of play!
Both the men’s and women’s side had a good mix of veterans of the pitch, new members, and junior players that showed promise for the team.
The women’s side went 4-0 to claim top spot for the weekend, and the men’s side came up short in a nail biter in extra time of the final against the Halifax Tars.
We look forward to week 2 of the series!!
