Program Descriptions
U10 & U12 Youth Flag (recreational)
Non-contact, flag rugby for those born in 2013-2016. Flag rugby is a fun way of introducing the game of rugby to youth. Whether you’re a rookie rugby graduate or are trying the sport for the first time we aim to provide a positive and safe non-contact program for all.
- Practice is once a week (location of your choice!) from 6:00-7:00
- Practice Location: Tuesdays (Benedict’s Field, Collins Road, Port Williams) and/or Thursdays (Avonview High Schoool, Windsor)
- Practice Dates: June 10-August 14
- Not eligible for jamborees
- Cost: $100

The competitive stream includes jamborees across the province!
- Practices once or twice a week (participant choice!) 6:00-7:00
- Practice Location: Tuesdays (Benedict’s Field, Collins Road, Port Williams) and/or Thursdays (Avonview High Schoool, Windsor)
- Practice Dates: June 10-August 14.
- Jamboree Dates: TBA
- Cost: $175
Jr VRU Intro to Contact (U12, U13, U14):
Introduction to contact for players born 2011-2013. Introducing junior-aged players to contact rugby with age and skill-appropriate game-based learning and progressions. The players will be divided by gender for contact purposes. Includes tournaments across the province!
- Practice Location: Practice Location: Tuesdays (Benedict’s Field, Collins Road, Port Williams) and/or Thursdays (Avonview High Schoool, Windsor) from 6:00-7:15 p.m.
- Practices are June 10-August 14, with the possibility for extension.
- Tournaments are TBA
- *2013 players will need a signed player exemption to participate in jamborees.
- Cost: $225
Jr VRU (U15, U16, U17, U18):
Contact rugby for players born 2007-2010 who will not be participating in senior competition. Aiming in helping junior ages players elevate their game, hone their skills and continue on a pathway of the sport- whether their goal is to play for the provincial team, or just because they love it! The players will be divided by gender for contact purposes. Includes tournaments across the province and scheduled exhibition games!
- Practice Location: Practice Location: Tuesdays (Benedict’s Field, Collins Road, Port Williams) and/or Thursdays (Avonview High Schoool, Windsor) from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
- Practices are June 10-August 14, with the possibility of extension
- Tournaments are TBA
- Cost: $275
- *If 2007s and 2008s (with exemption) opt to participate in senior competition, an upgrade will be required.
