Valley Rugby Union (VRU) is growing, and we are looking for passionate community members to help shape the future of rugby in the Valley.
Whether you are a current player, former athlete, parent, teacher, sport enthusiast, or someone completely new to rugby, there is a place for you within our programs.

Middle Level Flag Rugby Volunteers
Our Middle Level Flag Rugby program introduces young athletes to rugby through fun, non-contact sessions focused on skill development, teamwork, and confidence building.
Volunteers may assist with:
- Coaching a school
- Refereeing at the jamborees
- Helping organize jamboree days
- Creating a welcoming environment for players and families
VRU Program Volunteers
VRU delivers programming, festivals, development initiatives, and events throughout the year. We are seeking volunteers interested in:
- Coaching support
- Refereeing pathways
- Team management
- Event and tournament assistance
- Administration and organization
- Communications and community engagement
Whether you can help occasionally or are interested in ongoing involvement, we welcome your participation.
